We are seeking a Conference Services Manager to lead the planning and on-site execution of meetings, conferences, and banquet events for a high-volume, full-service hotel. Why This Role Is a Great Opportunity • High-impact position overseeing meetings and events from contract to post-conference wrap-up, • Direct collaboration with culinary, banquet, operations, and leadership teams, • Strong autonomy and visibility with clients and internal stakeholders, • Stable full-time role with comprehensive benefits in a professional hospitality environment Key Responsibilities Client & Event Leadership • Serve as the primary on-site contact for meeting planners once contracts are executed, • Own all event details related to guestrooms, meeting space, food & beverage, and concessions, • Anticipate client needs and resolve issues in real time to ensure seamless execution Revenue & Upselling • Identify and execute opportunities to upsell services and optimize function space, • Partner with Culinary and F&B teams to design customized menus that enhance guest satisfaction and maximize revenue, • Planning, Documentation & Execution, • Prepare, review, and distribute detailed group resumes and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), • Conduct pre-planning and pre-conference meetings with clients and department leaders, • Verify room assignments, setups, floor plans, and load-in/load-out logistics, • Maintain accurate pickup reports, files, and event records within the sales system Financial & Vendor Management • Manage billing accuracy, invoicing, deposits, and final payments prior to events, • Secure credit cards for overages and ensure compliance with accounting procedures, • Recommend and coordinate approved in-house and preferred vendors On-Site Event Oversight • Oversee live event execution to ensure all specifications are met, • Remain accessible to planners throughout the conference via phone, email, and in person, • Manage last-minute changes with professionalism and efficiency Post-Event Follow-Up • Coordinate post-conference meetings and feedback sessions when requested, • Review billing and event outcomes to drive repeat business and client retention What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Catering Manager or Conference Services Manager, • Proven ability to manage multiple, high-level clients simultaneously, • Strong knowledge of hotel operations and food & beverage service, • Experience with Delphi/Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and property-specific systems, • Comfortable creating, analyzing, and managing detailed reports and event documentation Benefits • Competitive $60,000 annual salary, • Health, Dental & Vision Insurance, • 401(k) Retirement Plan, • Paid Time Off, • Referral Program Exceptional candidates with a passion for service please apply!
