Job Description Position Title: Physician Assistant – Urgent Care & Specialty Services (Endocrinology, Dermatology, Cardiology) Job Location: Bronx, New York Employment Type: Full-time / On-site Schedule (If any): Monday–Friday Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join a dynamic and expanding clinical team providing Urgent Care and Specialty Services including Endocrinology, Dermatology, and Cardiology. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated provider who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoys practicing across multiple specialties while serving a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate is clinically confident, adaptable, and passionate about delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities: Urgent Care: • Evaluate and manage acute illnesses and minor injuries, • Perform minor procedures (suturing, wound care, incision & drainage, etc.), • Order and interpret labs and imaging, • Assess and manage diabetes (Type 1, Type 2, gestational), thyroid disorders, metabolic syndromes, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary conditions, • Initiate and adjust insulin, hormone therapy, and other endocrine treatments, • Interpret endocrine labs and diagnostic studies, • Conduct skin exams and skin cancer screenings, • Diagnose and treat dermatologic conditions (acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, rashes), • Perform biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, and minor dermatologic procedures, • Assist with surgical dermatology procedures when needed, • Conduct cardiovascular assessments and physical exams, • Manage hypertension, CAD, heart failure, arrhythmias, and hyperlipidemia, • Order and interpret EKGs, stress tests, echocardiograms, and cardiac labs, • Develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians Qualifications: Required: • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program (Master’s degree required), • Active New York State PA license, • NCCPA certification, • DEA registration and prescriptive authority, • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, • 1–2 years of experience in urgent care or specialty practice, • Experience with diabetes technology (CGM, insulin pumps), • Dermatologic procedural experience, • Cardiology outpatient experience, • BLS certification (ACLS preferred), • Experience with EMR systems What We Offer: • Competitive compensation package, • Potential performance-based incentives, • Comprehensive benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision), • Paid Time Off & CME allowance, • Supportive, multidisciplinary team environment, • Career growth within a multi-specialty clinical setting
