Open Positions: Foremen: 5+ years running projects, Conduit mastery, NEC/OSHA expertise, leadership Mechanic: 4+ years’ experience, EMT/IMC/Rigid conduit (½"-4"), troubleshooting Jr. Mechanic: 2+ years’ experience, Basic bending, blueprint reading, rough-in experience for power, lighting & lighting controls Helpers: Entry-level, Willingness to learn • Mechanics & Foremen to have excellent knowledge of conduit bending & installation* All roles are Hands-on, so the Ideal Employment candidates: • Are hardworking and self-motivated, with a great attitude, are team players, and are responsible, detail oriented and have great communication skills;, • Able to contend with the onsite physical demands of the job such as but not limited to lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing of materials and equipment, climbing stairs and ladders etc.;, • Able to read and interpret electrical blueprints;, • Have knowledge of the NEC and NYC electrical codes;, • Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems, • Possess necessary tools of the trade & the knowledge to safely use them;, • Mastery of hand/mechanical conduit benders (1/2" to 4"), • A minimum of 40-hour OSHA Construction certification is required. Job Duties will consist of the following : • Install and maintain EMT, IMC & rigid conduit systems (½" to 4"), • Installation, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems, • Pull and route wiring for devices, lighting, and panels, • Install outlets, switches, and fixtures per NEC code, • Fire Alarm - Installation, troubleshooting, testing, coordination with FA vendors, • Maintain clean worksites and organize materials, • Wire panels, switchgear, & perform service upgrades, • Install & troubleshoot lighting controls (Lutron, Leviton, Wattstopper etc), • Read and interpret electrical blueprints & schematics, • Document work in Procore (training available), • Maintain accurate records of work performed, and time spent on each project. Things you need to know before applying: • Candidates must pass a pre-employment technical test (NEC Codes, conduit math, safety etc.), • There is a zero-tolerance policy for phone usage during your shift on site.(Phone calls are only allowed if it’s an emergency or work-related phone calls ), • Smoke breaks must be done during your lunch break., • After an initial probationary period, Candidates will qualify for medical insurance & PTO.
