About the Role: Multi-Unit Manager As a Multi-Unit Manager at Heyday, you will lead and develop a portfolio of 4-6 shops within a region, supporting Shop Managers and their teams in achieving operational excellence, outstanding guest experiences, and business goals. What You'll Do Team Leadership & People Development • Lead, mentor, and support Shop Managers, Assistant Managers, and cross-functional teams across multiple shops, creating a culture of high performance and strong engagement., • Partner with the People Team on succession planning, internal mobility, and creating development plans for future leaders., • Act as a resource and role model for Shop Managers, providing ongoing coaching, conflict resolution, and performance management support., • Foster an inclusive, equitable culture in each location where every team member feels seen, supported, and set up for success. Operational Oversight • Ensure consistent execution of standard operating procedures (SOPs), policies, and client experience standards across all locations., • Analyze shop performance metrics regularly (P&Ls, utilization, client retention, productivity) and take decisive action to meet or exceed targets., • Oversee effective scheduling, labor management, and inventory practices that align with business goals and improve the bottom line., • Partner with Regional Educators to ensure Skin Therapist recruiting, training, and education plans are well-executed at the shop level. Business & Financial Acumen • Own and manage the performance of multiple shop-level P&Ls, driving revenue growth, controlling labor and operational costs, and maximizing profitability., • Lead quarterly business reviews with Shop Managers, analyzing KPIs and implementing strategic initiatives based on insights., • Maintain a strong presence in each shop to understand client feedback, employee experience, and local opportunities. Job Description Title: Senior Construction Project Management Specialist (Retail) Location: New York City Company: High-end consumer goods retail company (FuseGlobal has worked with this company for 20 years) Initial term: 12 months (position expected to run longer) Schedule: 2 days/week onsite (Manhattan Herald Square); 3 days remotely. About This Role: The Senior Retail Construction Project Management Specialist will plan, develop, and execute the construction of retail store builds, refurbishments, relocations, and temporary spaces. This role will also help deliver every project on time, within budget and scope. E2E project ownership from design to warranty management. What You'll Do: Construction Management • Manage all construction projects and builds (new stores, concept conversions, relocations, upgrades, repairs)., • Review and ensure that the landlord tenant criteria and construction portions of the lease are thoroughly evaluated and communicated to internal and external business partners., • Take a project management approach for all construction projects; clear timeline, objectives, deliverables, roles, and responsibilities through Retail Development Tracker and NSO platform., • Prepare construction estimates based on design development drawings., • Consult with Retail Operations and any other necessary stakeholders to determine functional and spatial requirements for new structure or renovation; prepare information regarding design specifications and implement local requirements through Retail Committee Project review process., • Manage all preconstruction activities: obtain permit information from the permit expeditor, ensure utilities are available upon possession, distribute project contact list to vendors and contractors, alert company of commencement of construction, procure all required owner supplied items (millwork, flooring, lighting etc.)., • Manage the bid phase: review and negotiate proposals, prepare general contractor bid leveling analysis, ensure all required materials and resources are available and within budgetary guidelines, and ensure all proposals are executed and returned to the vendors., • Track and maintain project costs-to-date through the approval of all invoices utilizing the department project accounting tracking reports, updating RECO platform from estimates to actuals., • Manage the construction phase: costs, schedule, quality, and timely completion of punch lists as well as completion of close-out packages., • Manage the turnover activities to retail operations and TQM partners with on-site presence and general contractor support., • Align milestones to ensure successful completion of the project within scope and budget., • Promptly identify any issues or potential issues and devise contingency plans to correct and keep project on track., • Align and engage with HQ throughout project to ensure design integrity., • Drive efficiencies to deliver savings to the bottom line., • Manage vendor performance and timeliness; source new vendors when performance issues are a pattern. Data System Management • Maintain construction database with legal documents including business license, health department certificates, insurance certificates, and close-out documents to transfer completed project to the Retail Operations team., • Research and input key materials, global insight, and local surroundings information into the Retail Development Tracker., • Ensure Weekly Construction Recap is up to date - with progress photos, completion status updates., • Align with local Finance team and HQ for capital expense budget., • Formulate reports and/or trackers concerning such areas as work progress, costs, and scheduling additionally, as needed. Process Improvement • Organize and migrate the Retail development database to the cloud-based solution (SharePoint / OneDrive)., • Create flow mapping of processes and procedures in order to create reference resources for on-boarding and contingency planning., • Identify gaps in existing RD E2E process and develop efficiencies to optimize the workflow and elevate the standards and expectations., • Spearhead needed HQ translations in design requests to comply with local market and municipality requirements. What You Bring: • Bachelor's degree in architecture, planning, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred., • 3+ years of professional work experience managing luxury construction projects required, preferably retail store projects., • Must have strong project management skills with methodological and impeccable follow-through to ensure tasks are completed within deadlines., • Demonstrated fluency in MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint)., • Excellent communication (oral and written), organizational, presentation, and stakeholder management skills (including the ability to develop and maintain strong, cross-functional stakeholder relationships)., • Willing and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision., • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills (with the ability to influence key business decisions)., • Current or prior experience using AutoCAD or other relevant tools a plus., • Willing and able to travel up to 50% based on the needs of the team and the business required.
