Job Description Job Title: Class B CDL Driver Job Description We are seeking a dependable Class B CDL Driver for a direct placement opportunity. In this role, you operate a 26-foot box truck to complete scheduled delivery routes across New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Brooklyn while maintaining a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and customer service. When not driving, you actively support warehouse operations by loading and unloading trucks, building pallets, order picking, and handling materials in a physically demanding environment. Responsibilities • Operate a 26-foot box truck safely and efficiently on delivery routes throughout New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Brooklyn., • Complete all scheduled deliveries accurately and on time, ensuring orders are delivered to the correct locations., • Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies., • Navigate daily delivery routes with minimal city driving while adjusting to traffic and route changes as needed., • Communicate effectively with warehouse and delivery teams regarding schedules, delivery status, and any delays or issues., • Load and unload delivery trucks independently, ensuring products are handled carefully and securely., • Build pallets and stage orders in the warehouse to support efficient loading and delivery operations., • Perform order picking and general material handling tasks to keep warehouse operations running smoothly., • Assist with warehouse duties during downtime, including organizing inventory and maintaining a clean work area., • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and use proper lifting techniques during heavy lifting tasks., • Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality to support consistent route coverage and warehouse workflow., • Collaborate with team members to meet daily delivery and warehouse goals in a fast-paced distribution environment. Essential Skills • Valid Class B CDL license., • Clean driving record with a strong focus on safe driving practices., • Ability to load and unload delivery trucks independently., • Comfortable performing heavy lifting throughout the shift in a physically demanding role., • Experience operating box trucks, preferably 26-foot box trucks., • Strong work ethic and willingness to assist with warehouse duties when not driving., • Ability to work effectively in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse environment with seasonal temperatures., • Reliable attendance and punctuality., • Strong communication skills to coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams., • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Previous experience in truck driving or Class B CDL driving., • Experience with loading, unloading, pallet building, and materials handling in a warehouse setting., • Ability to manage delivery routes with minimal city driving., • Comfort working in a fast-paced distribution environment with daily delivery schedules. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Edison, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $52000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
