The incumbent must be willing to work weekends, be flexible with shift rotations and be in full support of our 24/7 operation. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Receive in house or at the warehouse, all incoming bulk flour, ingredients, packaging, bakery supplies and equipment. Maintain GMP and HACCP standards by checking and or rejecting loads (if necessary) based on the following: • · Condition of the carriers’ truck, • · Condition of actual incoming load., • · Material meets company specification and the quantity matches on the invoice and P.O., • · Truck inspections to be entered into Safety Chain Enter all transactions into PRIMS. Take an accurate inventory of all ingredients and wrapping materials on a weekly basis. Investigate inventory variances to determine root cause. Advise and implement corrective actions Monitor par levels and advise if adjustments need to be made. Ensure all trucks are loaded properly with the proper count and prepare bill of lading or receipt, which will be signed off by the driver. Job Description Overview: Manage all aspects of receiving, warehouse storage, shipping and dispatch of finished products, requisitioning of all materials and scheduling of transport drivers for a 24-hour 7-day operation in Newark. Job Description Warehouse Shipping Lead - Second Shift Summary: A key staff member that directly reports to and supports the Warehouse Supervisor. Leads by example and is responsible for building and maintaining a cohesive Warehouse Team along with validating every shipment. A strong emphasis should be placed on developing, coaching and mentoring the warehouse hourly team. The Shipping Lead will ensure that both internal and external customer needs are met. He/ She will work closely with all warehouse staff to ensure all product shipped is labeled correctly. The Shipping Lead also spends the appropriate amount of time on and in the dock/freezer area of warehousing enforcing GMP policies, FIFO, occupational safety and food safety /sanitation.
