Job DescriptionJob Requirements The Sales Engineer I Security is responsible for promoting, developing, and selling physical security systems, equipment, and technology solutions within an assigned territory. This role supports business growth through relationship development, consultative selling, project opportunity identification, and solution-based sales activities for new construction, retrofit, and renovation projects. The Sales Engineer I Security works closely with contractors, consulting engineers, end users, project teams, and internal operations personnel to develop security solutions that meet customer operational, technical, and financial objectives. This role supports the preparation of estimates, proposals, and presentations for access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and related physical security technologies while helping drive profitable project sales and long-term customer relationships. Compensation The expected pay range for this position is $69,878-$93,170 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Stark Tech reasonably expects to pay within this range at the time of hire. Individual compensation is determined based on several factors including experience, education, certifications, skills, internal equity, and market conditions. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a commission and/or incentive compensation program. Actual earnings are based on individual performance and applicable plan terms. Work Experience • Associates degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, Electronics, or a related technical field required., • Bachelors degree preferred., • Minimum of 13 years of experience in sales, estimating, project coordination, physical security, low-voltage systems, or related industries required., • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, CRM platforms, and related business systems. Salesforce experience a plus., • Basic understanding of consultative selling principles and customer relationship management. Knowledge of access control, video surveillance/CCTV, video management systems (VMS), intrusion detection, or related physical security technologies preferred., • Ability to read and interpret project drawings, specifications, and technical documents required., • Must be authorized to work in the United States., • Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings., • Valid drivers license.
