Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing evaluations in both English and a second language (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin, Bengali, etc.), • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating culturally and linguistically appropriate, therapeutic techniques., • Deliver direct speech therapy services targeting a wide range of communication disorders, including:, • Articulation and phonological disorders, • Receptive and expressive language delays, • Fluency disorders (e.g., stuttering), • Voice disorders, • Feeding and swallowing difficulties, • Provide progress reports every 3 months to track each client's development and adjust goals as needed., • Collaborate with families, educators, and interdisciplinary team members to support generalization of skills across settings., • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, including evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes, • Educate and empower families to support communication growth at home and in the community., • Stay up to date on best practices in bilingual and multicultural speech therapy through ongoing professional development., • Make appropriate referrals to other disciplines when additional evaluation or intervention is needed to support the client’s overall development and progress.
