I am looking for a cook for a graduation party on July 12, 2025 (Cranford, Nj) from 5:00 pm to about 1100 to cook chicken wings, calamari, hamburgers and warm up other catering foods as needed.

We at Peck Slip Social are seeking a skilled and knowledgable Prep Chef with a strong work ethic and attention to detail to support our kitchen team. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and passionate about food, food safety and food preparation. This role is crucial to ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and is fully prepared for service. Key Responsibilities: - Receive, Inspect, and properly store deliveries upon arrival - Monitor and minimize food waste to maintain efficiency and cost control - Wash, cut, chop and butcher proteins and vegetables according to kitchen standards - Prepare sauces, dressings, and vinaigrettes from scratch - Ensure all kitchen stations are fully stocked, organized, clean and ready for prep and service. This position is GUEST FACING. We are on the hunt for an experienced line cook to join our talented team and help prepare meals according to our standard recipes. This position is a hybrid position in which you will also work in the back of house prepping for service on some days. Your principal goal will be to prepare high-quality meals that meet the chef’s exact specifications. This position is customer facing and you will be taking orders and fulfilling them.
