These PCs, phones, network equipment and communications circuits provide patrons and staff access to the Internet, public and enterprise applications and other information resources, thereby supporting the entire mission of the Library. We also work with Capital Planning to ensure that all new or renovated buildings include the latest in technology infrastructure. The Manager, Telecommunications will lead the Telecommunications team. The position is also responsible for interfacing with key business leaders to review needs, define requirements, and execute technical implementation. They will review upcoming technical needs (upgrades, road map) and determine optimal balance between functionality and security for such deployments. The manager will also have primary responsibility for reliable operation of in-house and contracted voice services.
