    Job description: We operate a variety of programs and services in the area of youth development, including after-school programs, teen centers and youth centers. These programs provide academic enrichment and support during non-school time to high school students, and aim to create a career- and college-bound focus among students and families through academic support, health consciousness, parent engagement, field trips, and career exploration opportunities. We are practitioners of positive youth development, working with young people in a way that builds on their existing strengths as a means of overcoming challenges. Program Directors are responsible for coordinating all aspects of management and delivery of the program to address needs of students, families and community members. This includes program development; planning; marketing; recruitment; day-to-day operations; management of partner relationships, event implementation, record-keeping; and evaluation. We seek inspirational individuals with leadership skills who are enthusiastic about helping inner-city youth succeed. In addition to leadership skills, successful candidates will have strong organizational, writing, and program implementation skills. A bachelor’s degree is required and as is experience working with young people.
