Our challenge We are looking for a Functional Project Manager with 6-10 years or working experience with an excellent communication skill. The incumbent should have prior experience in Financial industry and experience with Microsoft products like Excel , Visio, PowerPoint. Additional Information* The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Jersey City, NJ is $110k - $115k/year & benefits (see below). The Role Responsibilities: • Responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering complex deliverables across multiple teams, ensuring alignment with strategic goals., • Communicates objectives, manages risks, ensures compliance, and provides visibility into deliverable health., • Ensures deliverables meet client expectations for functionality, quality, timeline, and cost., • Facilitates routines such as kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates; manages dependencies and impediments., • Promotes cross-organizational collaboration to support timely delivery., • Provides status updates on delivery, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership., • Ensures deliverables conform to requirements, working closely with sponsors and stakeholders., • Maintains compliance with Enterprise Change Management standards., • Supports resource planning, budget management, and execution tracking., • Manages high-impact programs/projects, including regulatory initiatives., • Tracks and drives execution aligned with strategic priorities and success metrics., • Adheres to enterprise standards for program/project management processes., • Coaches project managers on process metrics and reporting., • Prepares and presents senior leadership updates., • Leads routine program delivery activities and supports portfolio management., • Oversees risk, controls, organizational compliance, hiring plans, and organizational goals. Requirements: • 6-10 years of experience managing technology projects., • Results-driven with strong relationship-building skills based on trust and teamwork., • Solid business, technology, and project management expertise., • Proven ability to resolve issues and mitigate risks through effective negotiation., • Capable of understanding project functionality and creating executive-quality materials under tight deadlines., • Excellent communication and presentation skills at an executive level., • Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and similar tools., • Skilled at articulating clear status updates, action plans, and issue resolutions., • Confident in leading meetings, driving deliverables, and resolving challenges., • Experienced in managing scope, schedule, risks, issues, and interdependencies with strong mitigation strategies., • Adaptable to iterative workflows and evolving project needs.
