Job Description We are seeking reliable, compassionate, professional, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team in PATCHOGUE, NY. As a CNA, you will provide essential support to patients in various healthcare settings, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position offers flexible scheduling; however, we are prioritizing candidates who can commit to a consistent weekly schedule. Employees can also complete double shifts. FULL-TIME Openings: 2PM-10PM (Eve) PART-TIME Openings: 6AM-2PM (Day) If you are unable to commit and consistently work any of the open shifts including working every other Saturday & Sunday then this position is not the right fit for you. The hourly rate is $25/hr. and the overtime & holiday rate is $37.50/hr. Our pay period is Sunday to Saturday and pay is weekly (every Thursday via direct deposit) Our Benefits Include: • Health Insurance after 90 days, • 401(K) after 8 months, • Up to 56-hours of accrued sick time per calendar year, • Short-Term Disability, • Worker's Comp, • Overtime Opportunities (Time-and-a-Half), • Holiday Pay (Time-and-a-Half) Responsibilities • Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal assistance., • Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff., • Provide mobility assistance, including transferring patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other locations., • Support nursing and medical staff in the delivery of quality patient care., • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols., • Build positive relationships with patients, families, and staff to foster a supportive environment., • Participate in training and ongoing education to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care. #IND7 Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a CNA training program., • Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)., • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply., • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care., • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to the fast-paced healthcare environment., • Basic understanding of patient care procedures and safety protocols.
