Job DescriptionDirector, Beacon Community Center Queens Community House (QCH) ???? Location: MS 210Q (School-Based Program) ???? Job Type: Full-Time ???? Salary: $65,000–$75,000 annually Schedule • Monday–Friday: 10:00 am-6:00 PM or 12:00 PM–8:00 PM, • Morning availability required for preparation, meetings, and training, • Potential Saturdays: 9:30 AM–5:00 PM, • School holidays, recess, and summer:, • Ensure compliance with QCH policies, funder requirements (DYCD, foundations), and regulatory agencies (DOH, DOL, DOE), • Inspire, coach, and lead a team of two full-time supervisors and roughly twenty part-time employees, who take ownership over the development of high-quality community and youth development programming and relationships., • Maintain accurate attendance, data entry, and reporting in all required systems, • Review program data regularly to inform priorities and improvements, • Plan and support special events, staff meetings, advisory councils, and professional development, • Build and maintain strong partnerships with school leadership, staff, families, funders, and community stakeholders, • Represent QCH through outreach and community meetings, • Monitor staff attendance and approve timesheets, • Oversee program budget, fiscal controls, petty cash, and reconciliations, • Respond to emergencies and conduct crisis intervention as needed, • Oversee subcontracted and co‑located programs, • Ensure proper documentation, file maintenance, and audit readiness, • Maintain timely communication with supervisors, staff, and partners, • Complete special projects and additional duties as assignedRequired Qualifications, • Bachelor’s degree in Social Services, Social Work, Public/School Health, Education, or related field, • Minimum 3 years of supervisory and management experience in youth or community development, • Experience with outreach, retention, budgeting, performance‑based contracts (DYCD preferred), and regulatory compliance, • Ability to meet NYS School‑Aged Child Care Program Director requirements and obtain required clearances, • Availability for evenings and weekends, • Ability to work both in person and remotelyPreferred Qualifications, • Master’s degree in a related field, • CPR and First Aid CertificationBenefits, • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, • Life Insurance, • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), • Paid Family Leave (QCH supplements NYS PFL to ensure full pay during approved leave), • 403(b) Retirement Plan, • Generous time off (Vacation and Sick), • Specified federal holidays off
