Job Description (Broken Arrow, OK): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a 3G Vessel Welder (Sub-Arc Pathway) to support skid fabrication and vessel support structures in a shop-based manufacturing environment. This position requires strong structural welding skills, the ability to perform fit-up and fabrication work, and a commitment to safety and quality in a high-production setting. This role begins with MIG/Flux-Core welding and offers advancement into Submerged Arc Welding (Sub-Arc) after hire. Essential Duties: • Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings., • Perform 3G structural welding using GMAW (MIG) and FCAW (Flux-Core) on carbon steel., • Complete an initial 3G MIG/Flux-Core weld test on 1” plate., • After hire, train and qualify on Submerged Arc Welding (Sub-Arc) processes., • Fit, tack, and weld skids, I-beams, H-beams, and vessel support structures., • Perform structural welding in vertical, overhead, and flat positions., • Conduct fit-up using clamps, fixtures, jigs, and measuring tools., • Grind, cut, torch, and prep materials to support fabrication activities., • Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications., • Perform routine inspection and basic maintenance of welding equipment and tools., • Work collaboratively with fitters, welders, QC, and material handlers to meet production goals., • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area., • Follow all company safety policies, fire-prevention practices, and PPE requirements. Requirements/Skills: • Proven experience as a 3G structural or vessel welder., • Strong knowledge of MIG and Flux-Core welding processes., • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings., • Experience fitting and welding large structural components., • Comfortable working long shifts in a production fabrication environment., • Ability to self-inspect weld quality and correct defects as needed., • Strong work ethic, reliability, and team-oriented attitude., • Willingness to train and certify on Sub-Arc welding after hire.
