Job DescriptionJob Title: Shipping Delivery DriverJob Description This role operates within the shipping and receiving department, combining local box truck deliveries with hands-on warehouse responsibilities. The shipping delivery driver transports finished products to local customers, supports daily shipping and receiving operations, and ensures accurate inventory handling using a computer-based inventory system. Responsibilities • Drive a box truck to deliver finished products safely and on time to local customers., • Support daily activities in the shipping and receiving department, including preparing orders for shipment., • Perform inventory counts based on purchase orders prior to delivery to ensure accuracy., • Load and unload trailers and trucks as needed using a sit-down forklift and other appropriate equipment., • Use a computer inventory system to input, update, and verify inventory numbers and shipping information., • Handle products and materials carefully to prevent damage during loading, unloading, and transit., • Maintain a clean and organized work area within the shipping and receiving department., • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while driving, operating forklifts, and working in the warehouse., • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding deliveries, inventory discrepancies, and shipping needs., • Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies while operating the box truck.Essential Skills, • Proven experience working in a shipping and receiving department., • Box truck driving experience with a clean driving record., • Sit-down forklift operation experience for loading and unloading inventory., • Ability to perform inventory counting based on purchase orders., • Proficiency with computers and use of computer-based inventory systems., • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate deliveries and inventory records., • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a warehouse and delivery environment., • Reliable attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts and deliveries.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Clean driving record, subject to motor vehicle record review covering the past 3–5 years., • Experience loading and unloading trucks and trailers in a warehouse setting., • Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled environment., • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required for shipping and receiving tasks., • Strong communication skills for coordinating with customers and internal teams.Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is based in a non-climate-controlled warehouse and shipping facility, combining indoor warehouse work with time spent on local roadways for deliveries. The role involves operating a sit-down forklift, using computer-based inventory systems, and working around trailers and trucks during loading and unloading. Typical hours are 8:00 a.m. to finish (usually around 4:00 p.m.), Monday through Friday, with approximately two Saturdays per month for about four hours. The environment is active and hands-on, requiring comfort with physical tasks, machinery operation, and varying temperatures. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Broken Arrow, OK. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $29120.00 - $33280.00/yr.
