Job DescriptionJob Title: Industrial Facilities Technician 2 Job Description Maintain, install, and repair facility equipment and automation equipment within the Dream Fulfillment Center (DFC), with minimal oversight for more complex work assignments. Responsibilities • Diagnose and perform preventive maintenance/repairs to powered industrial equipment and conveyor systems, ensuring adherence to safety policies and procedures., • Diagnose and perform repairs/preventive maintenance on building equipment such as air compressors, heating/ventilation, and plumbing/electrical, including performing welding repairs as needed., • Communicate frequently with the Facilities Manager and Operations leaders/team members regarding the status of repair work and any implications on the operation., • Perform project work to support warehouse daily operations and building projects as assigned; may be assigned to lead the project and coordinate the work of others., • Maintain CMMS, work orders, and inventory, performing other related duties as assigned., • Train junior team members using OJT techniques: Observe, Discuss, Perform, Evaluate, and provide feedback.Essential Skills, • Facilities maintenance, • Electrical, • Plumbing, • HVAC, • Troubleshooting, • Preventive maintenance, • Maintenance technician, • Facilities, • Painting, • Carpentry, • PLC, • Conveyor, • Building maintenance, • Repair, • PMs, • Facility, • Boiler, • Roof Top unitsAdditional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience in diagnosing and repairing powered industrial equipment and conveyor systems., • Experience in diagnosing and repairing building equipment such as air compressors, heating/ventilation, and plumbing/electrical., • Ability to perform welding repairs.Why Work Here? Work Environment This role involves frequent lifting and carrying of tools and/or products weighing 5 to 60 pounds, as well as frequent pushing or pulling of material and/or equipment. You will spend a significant amount of time standing, walking primarily in the warehouse, and working with powered industrial equipment. The role also involves frequent reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting, with occasional sitting to perform office tasks and enter data in the computer. Expect repetitive motion and substantial movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
