Job Summary: This is a Manual Tech Writer • Must have Structures/Maintenance Experience and visible on the resume. • Aero Logistics Engineer focuses on analysis and technical coordination to develop affordable and supportable military systems. The position is responsible for supporting the development of support systems within the IPTs. • These support system resources include: Level of Repair Analysis(LORA), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Failure Mode Effect & Critical Analysis (FMECA), Provisioning/SupplySupport, Task/Maintenance Plan Analysis, Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM), Paper-based manuals, Illustrated Parts Breakdowns (IPB), Support Equipment, PHS&T, and Repair Parts and Special Tool List (RPSTLs), and Industry MIL-STD documents and manuals, which span across multiple aircraft platforms, modifications, and development programs. • This position focuses on the design of inherent supportability into the analysis and the associated design, analysis and optimization of the customers' military support system. • Support and assist in data preparation and presentation for program reviews and perform other work as directed. • Perform to a set of performance metrics and measurements that give visibility to cost and schedule objectives. Qualifications: • Demonstrates a working knowledge and the requisite skill sets to work within the IPT/organization. • Performs all assigned tasks to an acceptable quality standard with minimal supervision. • Compliant to company processes, procedures, and applicable government regulations. • Experience in Military logistics and/or experience in aviation logistics preferred. • Must have strong analytical skills. • Must be experienced with the Microsoft software suite. • Must have excellent communication skills. Education: • High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Job DescriptionSalary: $18 - $25 an hour (DOE) Role & Responsibilities: Data entry of customs entries ISF Filing for all Ocean Shipments Assisting in product classifications for all customs brokerage shipments Assist with in-bond entries and Bonded shipments Support Import Dept of excess shipments Perform audit and review on all assigned brokerage files and payments to customs Properly classify the commercial invoices using the US Tariff Book and CROSS as a reference tool Data entry of import AMS information and HTS# - Including transmission to US Customs Preparing entry documentation including 7501 and 3461 Specialize in remote location filing Assists with maintaining compliance measures for import operation Maintain document compliance Ensures that proper documentation and procedures are maintained in accordance with U.S. Customs standards Arrange both delivery and the invoicing of the import account for services rendered Ensure timely filing of ISF 72 hours prior to shipment leaving last origin port Prepare delivery orders, send to trucker, follow up with POD Process documents through the Company's ABI system, obtaining Customs release and other government agency releases as appropriate Review and monitor all Customs rejections and requests for information for clients Other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: Customs compliance and regulations knowledge. Importation into the US commerce. • Experience working in freight forwarding., • Experience filing entries containing PGA information., • Experience filing ISFs accurately and timely., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
