Responsibilities  Understand the project/program and its requirements • Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and architectural drawings to determine scope and requirements., • Familiarize yourself with the unique aspects of each flooring project. Determine key variables for cost and other estimates, • Calculate quantities of materials, labor costs, equipment needs, and project timelines, • Identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Access project sites to collect necessary data and measurements. • Stay updated on current prices of materials and labor rates., • Utilize estimating software and CAD programs (e.g., AutoCAD, PlanSwift) for accurate calculations., • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain up-to-date pricing on materials and services., • Identify potential risks or challenges in project execution., • Compile comprehensive project cost summaries, including all direct and indirect expenses., • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors., • Advise on project scheduling, resource allocation, and manpower requirements.
