South Beach Psychiatric Center’s (NYS-Office of Mental Health) Department of Psychology is seeking Licensed Psychologists who are willing to work at the outpatient clinic located in Bensonhurst Brooklyn. At the outpatient setting, psychologists serve as a Primary Therapist who provides therapy and case management services. Case load size is up to 55 individual cases and up to two psychoeducational or treatment groups. Psychologists at South Beach Psychiatric Center are a valued resource and there are additional opportunities for training, consultation, psychological testing, and specialized treatment. Licensed Psychologists can also participate in the psychology externship program as supervisors and/or didactic instructors. Required Criteria: - Doctorate Degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology - Eligible for New York State Psychologist License * Supervision for licensure is available - A completed internship/externship - Preferred (not required) Criteria: - New York State License or License eligible - Candidates on the civil service list - Candidates currently working for OMH - Previous experience working with adults in a clinical setting - Strong interpersonal and communication skills Bilingual - Spanish
