Job Description The Mental Health Association is seeking Per Diem Peer Support Specialist for our new program, 988 Mobile Crisis Outreach Team, operating out of Hudson county. The 988 Mobile Crisis Outreach Response program will respond to adults (18 and above) in nonlife-threatening situations who have contacted the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. The Mobile Crisis Outreach Response program (MCORT) responds 24 hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year, to nonlife-threatening mental health, substance use or suicidal crises in the community. MCORT will work in coordination with the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline crisis centers. (The 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline was formerly the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.) MCORT is to be comprised of a two-person team in the field under remote supervision by a third professional from a centralized location. Shifts are on an as-needed basis for this position. Specifically seeking holiday and weekend coverage. Qualified applicants for the position of Per Diem Peer Support Specialist will have, at minimum: • Two years’ of continuous recovery experience based on personal experience with a mental illness or substance use disorder (AMI or SUD), and at least one year of field experience working with community individuals required., • Must be certified by at least one of the following credentialing entities: Addiction Professional Certification Board as a Certified Recovery Support Practitioner (CRSP) or Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS); Mental Health Association in New Jersey as a Certified Recovery Support Practitioner (CRSP); NSSDAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals as a National Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (NCPRSS); Certified Wellness Coach; Community Mental Health Associate Certificate., • The ability to provide effective crisis response and de-escalation and intervention as related to community mental health in the community., • A valid NJ driver’s license and a good driving record., • The ability to collaborate effectively with community providers and 988 managing entity., • Providing evidenced based crisis services, when identified by the 988-managing entity, to individuals experiencing a mental health or substance use disorder crisis in the community., • Utilization of Motivational Interviewing to engage individuals experiencing crisis and provide non-clinical support beyond the resolution of the immediate crisis., • Supporting individuals to de-escalate crisis, and when deemed necessary, safe, and appropriate, provide transportation to crisis stabilization and receiving centers, certified community behavioral health clinics, or hospital’s emergency departments for appropriate care and treatment., • Providing follow up to community members in need of connections to social services that can enhance prevention of non-emergency calls and increase early intervention treatment access., • Direct follow up with identified clients and collateral contacts as needed in order to facilitate access to appropriate services based on immediate client needs., • Providing weekend/holiday coverage on a rotating basis for 24 hour/7 day access to services., • Collaboration with family members, friends or loved ones to assist and support individuals in crisis on an as-needed basis. Job Description GENERAL PURPOSE The Senior Mechanical Engineer is responsible for consulting with Clients to fulfill their engineering requirements for the life cycle of their projects. The Senior Mechanical Engineer must be self-motivated with a proven record of excellent project delivery to lead several projects. The consultation will include mechanical design and commissioning for the client's projects. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be involved in multiple projects simultaneously, with projects at different stages, at any given time. The Senior Mechanical Engineer is expected to handle most job functions without technical assistance and work under the CEO's general supervision. The Senior Mechanical Engineer should be able to provide mentorship and technically oversee the work performed by junior engineers as required by the CEO. In In addition, the Senior Mechanical Engineer is required to assist with business development and sales, including developing client relationships, soliciting new work, and preparing project proposals. RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop and cultivate relationships with existing and potential clients to solicit new business., • Prepare documents related to business development, such as responses to RFQ and RFP and proposals., • Conceptual and detailed specification and design of mission-critical mechanical systems for critical facilities, including but not limited to data centers, financial institutions, e-commerce institutions, and other central plant campus-type projects., • Produce and/or coordinate designs from schematic design development to the contract document phase of the projects., • Design mission-critical mechanical systems such as HVAC, fire protection, controls, and plumbing., • Provide code analysis and recommendations to maintain mechanical code compliance for all relevant projects., • Have extensive knowledge of ASHRAE, AHRI, ASME, ANSI, and NFPA., • Utilizes software tools such as Trane Trace and Future Facilities CFD to perform ASHRAE design calculations and Studies., • Conduct analyses to develop design options or recommendations to prepare project documents., • Utilizes software tools such as REVIT and AutoCAD to prepare Drawings and Sketches., • Coordinate project tasks with the project team to complete the project on schedule, • Conduct work sessions virtually or travel to the project site to collaborate on projects with stakeholders., • Review mechanical documents to resolve areas of conflict with all disciplines., • Continuously improve and edit mechanical specifications and equipment selection process for mechanical systems and devices., • Coordinate with and assist affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs, and change orders, and take responsibility for incorporating agreed-upon changes into the project documents on the project leading., • Provide construction contract administration as needed, • Prepare commissioning documents related to commissioning projects to prepare, conduct and close out., • Perform commissioning tasks required to complete the commissioning project., • Provides technical support and troubleshooting of ongoing client facility operations, as required The Senior Mechanical Engineer maintains relationships with the Argo team, other business partners, and clients, adhering to Argo guidelines. Mechanical Engineers also maintain direct contact with other Engineering, Project Management, and Argo operations team, serving as the focal point of communication for different groups related to client services.
