Position Overview We’re seeking a knowledgeable and motivated HVAC Technician & Trainer to join our team. This role is based out of our Albany, NY office and supports a territory that includes New York, Western Vermont, and Western Massachusetts. You must live in the Capital District. The ideal candidate will combine strong HVAC field experience with excellent communication skills and a passion for helping others learn and succeed. This position involves a minimum 25% travel to provide on-site support and conduct in-person training sessions. When not traveling, the role is based in-office, providing phone and virtual technical assistance. Key Responsibilities • Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions on residential and commercial HVAC products, • Provide phone-based technical support to contractors and distributors, • Assist with on-site troubleshooting for escalated technical issues, • Create or contribute to training materials, presentations, and documentation, • Stay current on product updates and technical trends within the HVAC industry, • Collaborate with the Director of Training and internal teams to support company-wide training efforts Qualifications • 5+ years of hands-on HVAC installation or service experience, • Strong troubleshooting skills and technical knowledge of HVAC systems, • Excellent verbal communication and presentation abilities, • Comfortable leading training sessions and working with groups, • Self-directed, organized, and detail-oriented, • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems, • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory What We Provide • Competitive salary (range to be discussed based on experience), • Company vehicle or vehicle allowance, • Health insurance and retirement plan, • Company laptop, phone, and tools, • Ongoing manufacturer training and development opportunities, • A supportive and experienced team environment Ready to Join Us?
