Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: CVICU, • Discipline: RN, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 34.5 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, nights, • Employment Type: Travel Title: RN – CVICU (Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit) Location: Bronx, New York -10467 Shift: Nights | 12-Hour Shifts Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 05/27/2026 Hours/week: 34.5 Hours per Week Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) assignment in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care experience and the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Roles & Responsibilities: • Provide direct nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients in the CVICU., • Monitor patient conditions, assess vital signs, and respond to changes in clinical status., • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders., • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans., • Operate and monitor critical care equipment and cardiac monitoring systems., • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC charting system., • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery processes., • Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures. Skills: • Critical care nursing, • Cardiovascular intensive care experience, • Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills, • Cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation, • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, • EPIC charting experience preferred Requirements: • Active RN License – New York, • Minimum 2 years of CVICU or critical care experience, • AHA - BLS,ACLS, • Experience in acute care setting required Please submit your resume to manas(at)medcadre.com.
