Job DescriptionDeli Department Team Member Pino’s Food Market is seeking a reliable, customer-focused individual to join our deli team! We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing excellent customer service, maintaining high food safety standards, and working in a fast-paced team environment. Major Duties & Responsibilities • Provide excellent customer service in a friendly and professional manner., • Maintain high standards of product freshness, cleanliness, and sanitation., • Operate deli equipment, including meat slicers, microwaves, cutting tools, and scales., • Weigh and package prepared foods and raw meats accurately., • Prepare special orders, catering platters, and food trays., • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager. Additional Duties & Responsibilities • Clean and sanitize the workspace at the end of each shift., • Wrap and properly store cold cuts, meats, and prepared foods at the end of the day., • Assist customers with product selections and answer questions., • Promote new products, specials, and featured items. Physical Requirements • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift., • Ability to lift at least 20 pounds., • Ability to safely operate deli equipment after appropriate training.
