Job DescriptionJob description: Production Supervisor – Manufacturing Full-Time | Exempt Department: Operations Reports To: Production Manager Positions Available: 3 • A Shift, • C Shift A Shift • Sunday – Tuesday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, • Wednesday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM, • Wednesday: 12:00 AM – 6:00 AM The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure production runs safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality standards. This role involves supervising employees, coordinating production schedules, enforcing safety procedures, monitoring quality, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The supervisor serves as a leader on the production floor and a key link between operations and management. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Enforce company standards for products and manufacturing processes during assigned shifts, • Report to the shift 15 minutes early to ensure smooth handoff between supervisors, • Supervise production lines, shift operations, and related manufacturing functions, • Train production employees and support onboarding of new hires, • Manage scheduling of hourly production personnel, • Review production data and reports in ERP systems, • Maintain standards for resin blends, line changes, and operating procedures, • Ensure byproducts are accurately recorded prior to reprocessing, • Enforce safe work practices and comply with accident prevention programs, • Conduct initial accident investigations and report all injuries, • Assist with safety meetings and safety compliance initiatives, • Ensure equipment is operated and maintained according to GMP practices, • Coordinate equipment maintenance with the maintenance department, • Maintain accurate production, quality, and compliance documentation, • Ensure consistent product quality and coordinate with transportation for on-time delivery, • Promote professionalism, integrity, and equal employment opportunity policies, • High School Diploma or equivalent, • Minimum 1 year of experience in blown film extrusion or a similar manufacturing environment, • Understanding of blown film extrusion processes and polymer materials, • Familiarity with extrusion machinery, including blowers, dies, and chillers, • Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic equipment maintenance, • Knowledge of quality assurance methods (film thickness, strength, clarity), • Experience with statistical process control (SPC), • Strong leadership and team-building skills, • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, • Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure, • Strong time management and organizational skills, • Proactive approach to continuous improvement, • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, • 401(k) with company match, • Paid time off (PTO) and company holidays, • Tuition reimbursement and professional development support, • Employee referral program Benefits: • 401(k), • 401(k) matching, • Dental insurance, • Health insurance, • Paid time off, • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
