Job Description The overall purpose of this position is to support the timely and effective work of the IEEE Corporate Governance team, a highly visible department that supports the IEEE Board of Directors (IEEE Board) and GIEE Board as applicable, various Committees of volunteer leaders, and related processes. The incumbent will assist in guiding volunteers and staff through processes related to drafting, revising, and adopting governance documents, ensuring that the IEEE Governance Committee and the IEEE Board have sufficient information to make informed decisions regarding policy and governance-related matters. The individual will also work with volunteers and staff across IEEE to help lead and support committee reviews, advancing the Governance Committee's efforts to evaluate IEEE's overall governance effectiveness and efficiency. This includes, but is not limited to, assessing the effectiveness of IEEE Committees and providing recommendations, as appropriate. This individual will support operations related to committee administration and meetings, maintain governing documents, manage financial processes, and facilitate communications. Job Description HOURS: 7:00am - 3:00pm Stand up forklift certification required The QA cage receiving clerk is responsible for a variety of tasks within the receiving department. Some of the key duties include checking in trucks using inspections forms and log books, unloading deliveries, verifying delivered materials against packing lists and prepping paperwork to be received. This role will also involve sampling various materials to be sent for laboratory testing. The clerk will also need to be proficient in matching up identifying stickers with product and accurately label them. The clerk will also need to be forklift certified to be able to put away all verified material in designated storage locations. This position requires an extreme attention to detail, as it involves maintaining logbooks, completing paperwork accurately and ensuring full compliance with GMP standards. This position will also require a verification step of all staged orders prepped for manufacturing ( QA Check ). This position will need to demonstrate critical thinking, problem solving, and effective communication skills. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Follow GMP Requirement while performing all job duties., • Inspect trucks before unloading., • Fill out truck Inspection Checklists., • Unload the freight from trucks., • Inspect received pallets and products., • Check in material and quantities on the BOL & packing slip., • Confirm the quantities, lot numbers with the Packing Slip; COAs and/or COCs., • Process received material (sampling, stickering received material with Deacom labels)., • Sample material while maintaining GMP compliance and following all SOPs., • QA check of staged manufacturing jobs for blending., • Keeping receiving dock organize and clean., • Assisting in other areas as needed and performing other duties as assigned KEY RELATIONSHIPS: The QA cage receiving clerk position directly reports to the Warehouse Operations Supervisor and Indirectly to the Warehouse Operations Manager. The QA cage receiving clerk will work closely with different departments in the warehouse. The Purchasing, Planning, and Quality departments are all areas where the clerk will need to be able to communicate with. The clerk will also work closely with the staging department shuttling pallets from one area to another.
