As a psychosocial assistant, your main role is to implement psychosocial strategies and interventions with the student that you are paired with. This student will be a student in a Lower School classroom, so you will be working directly as a team with their Head Academic Teachers, their Psychosocial Teacher, and their Associate Teacher. Clinical Supervision & Availability * Supervise approximately 12–15 Associate Therapists. * Conduct biweekly individual supervision sessions per supervisee. * Hold virtual office hours once weekly for clinical consultation. * Lead group supervision for cohorts 2 times per cohort per month. * Maintain timely responsiveness to supervisee clinical questions during regular working hours, including urgent support needs related to client safety and consultation within established escalation protocols. * Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support crisis escalation and clinician consultation on client safety. * Provide clear guidance rooted in ethics, cultural humility, and clinical best practices. 2. Clinical Quality & Documentation Oversight * Review and approve supervisee documentation, including: * Intake assessments and diagnoses (within 48 hours) * Treatment plans and progress notes (by 7pm ET Friday for preceding 7 days) * Mental status exams and other clinical forms * Ensure documentation meets licensure, insurance, and MyWellbeing compliance standards. * Support clinicians in accurate diagnosis, treatment planning, and progress tracking. 3. Job Description Behavioral Health Manager Position Summary: Under the direction of the Program Director, the Behavioral Health Manager serves as a practice leader and staff coach, strengthening Atlas HOPE staff's engagement with participants, their response to crises, and their application of evidence-informed behavioral strategies in real-world settings. This is not a clinical caseload position. Instead, the Behavioral Health Practice Manager partners closely with Coaches and program leadership to observe practice, provide feedback, deliver training, and support consistent, trauma-informed engagement across the program. The role requires strong familiarity with behavioral change interventions, crisis prevention and de-escalation strategies, and the ability to translate theory into practical, staff-ready tools. The Behavioral Health Manager adheres to the program model prescribed by United Way of New York City and works collaboratively across interdisciplinary teams. Kaplan House offers an extensive independent living skills program, including vocational preparation, and educational services that assists youth towards reaching independence. POSITION OVERVIEW: The Clinical Supervisor has clinical and administrative responsibility for a residential program unit, under the supervision and direction of the Director. The Supervisor is responsible for carrying a small caseload, supervising clinical staff, ensuring the provision of psychotherapeutic, psychiatric and case management services for residents, overseeing administrative processes, and participating in various administrative and team conferences.
