Note: To be considered, candidates must have 3+ years of directly relevant estate planning and elder law experience. We are specifically seeking attorneys with real experience in estate planning and elder care matters, not generalists with only partial overlap from other practice areas. Litigation experience in estate or elder law matters is a strong plus. Job Description • Draft estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and related planning instruments, • Advise clients on estate planning, elder care, asset protection, Medicaid planning, and long-term care considerations, • Handle estate and trust administration matters and guide fiduciaries through the administration process, • Support or manage guardianship, probate, and related elder law matters, • Participate in estate, trust, guardianship, or elder law-related litigation matters when applicable, • Communicate directly with clients, families, courts, agencies, financial institutions, and other professionals, • Conduct legal research, draft correspondence and pleadings, and help develop practical solutions for sensitive client issues, • Supervise and work closely with paralegals and support staff, • Track billable time accurately and contribute to a high-standard, client-focused practice, • J.D. required, • 3+ years of directly relevant estate planning and elder law experience required, • Strong experience drafting estate planning documents required, • Experience with elder care, Medicaid planning, guardianship, probate, or estate administration strongly preferred, • Litigation experience in estate or elder law matters is a plus, • Strong writing, client communication, and issue-spotting skills, • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage sensitive matters with empathy and professionalism, • Meaningful work that helps people through deeply important family, health, and legacy decisions, • A focused practice area where you can continue building true subject matter expertise, • Direct collaboration with an experienced founder and close-knit team, • A professional but compassionate culture that values both competence and humanity Job Type: Full-time Benefits: • Dental insurance, • Paid time off, • Retirement plan, • Vision insurance
