Req Number 184375 Job Description Responsible for nutritional care of patients. Plans, assesses, implements, and evaluates patient nutritional care plan. Assists in menu modifications and other nutritional related functions. Job Responsibility 1.May mentor and train team members. Supports a clinical function to assist clinical team members and department or unit management with carrying out daily clinical operations * Prepares, presents, and conducts individual and group education classes, and refers clients to community services, as needed. Participates in and promotes Northwell wellness initiatives. 10.Develops and utilizes effective lines of communication regarding nutrition information within the program and community. 11.Provides in-services to culinary, food service and interdisciplinary teams regarding therapeutic diets and related topics. 12.Participates in Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement related tasks including data collection and executes tasks related to it, as directed. 13.Solves or escalates operational problems and technical issues to senior team members and management; modifies existing tools or processes 14.Performs related duties as required. Job Qualification Master's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience, required. Current Registered Dietitian Certification with the Commissions on Dietetic Registration, required. Certified Dietitian Nutritionist in New York State (CDN), as needed. Advanced/specialized certifications, as needed. 1-3 years of relevant experience, required. *Additional Salary Detail The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).
