About the position We are looking for an Infusion Nurse, distinguished by their compassion, curiosity, and desire to learn and grow. This role will include clinical administration and oversight of ketamine infusions, as well as patient relationship development and clinic team support. This person will have the chance to help evolve a care model for a cutting edge, high impact mental healthcare solution. This is a full time (Monday - Friday) role serving patients across our practice's five New York City clinics, with locations in the Upper East Side, Chelsea, Tribeca, Williamsburg, and Brooklyn Heights. This role will float across all sites to provide coverage and additional capacity as needed. As our practice grows, there may also be an opportunity to be based full-time at a single clinic, with occasional cross coverage across the practice. Credentials Acceptable candidates must have a current New York State License in one of the following professions: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Registered Professional Nurse (RN), Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), or Nurse Practitioner (NP). Responsibilities In-Office Clinical Care • Administer infusions to patients in accordance with Ember Health clinical protocols., • Monitor patients during the infusion process, with appropriate intervention and escalation given adverse events., • Engage in therapeutic communications to ensure psychological safety for patients throughout their session., • Maintain accurate electronic medical records and efficacy data., • Manage a highly-organized, safe, and clean work area., • Manage medical inventory on behalf of the clinical team, and in coordination with the central operations team., • Accurately prepare, label, and store medications in compliance with Ember's protocols and safety standards., • Assist with patient scheduling and follow up care booking., • Assist with the cleaning of infusion suites between patients, and overall tidiness of the clinical space., • Assist with the longitudinal communication with patients and provider partners., • You are warm, compassionate, and empathetic. You take pride in a beautifully placed IV every time, and an unorganized supply drawer makes you cringe., • Highly adept at placing IVs, trained and experienced in cardio-respiratory monitoring, and comfortable monitoring patients during procedural sedation., • Professional experience and comfort with therapeutic patient communications. As an Infusion Nurse at Ember Health, you will be an integral part of the mental health of our patients seeking relief from depression. Compensation Package and Benefits The annual starting salary for this role is $93,000, with eligible employees receiving yearly salary increases, guaranteed 401K contributions and potential for bonus 401K contributions based on enterprise performance. The total amount contributed to an Infusion Nurses' 401K will be 3%-10% of annual salary ($2,700 - $8,700). This is a full-time, in-person opportunity across our five New York City based clinics, with the opportunity to serve one primary clinic as the practice grows.
