JOB SUMMARY As an Assistant Store Manager, you are responsible for assisting the Store Manager in the daily operation of the store, ensuring the highest performance possible in all areas within the operation. Jointly you will be responsible for adhering to market-specific legal requirements, company policies, cleaning, and compliance structures. You are expected to have a full overview of the store and lead your team members when your Store Manager is not present ensuring efficient workflows, great guest experiences, and high-quality products. This is a high-autonomy, hands-on role for a fast-paced thinker and exceptionally strong independent operator who can move fluidly between strategy and execution. The successful candidate must be able to identify what needs to happen next, investigate details, solve problems, make sound judgment calls, and move work forward without waiting for step-by-step direction or administrative support. The Officer serves as a one-person recruitment, engagement, and student-pathways operation within the STEM Pre-College Programs team. This individual must be equally comfortable developing a recruitment strategy, calling a school counselor, analyzing application conversion data, cleaning a CRM record, following up with a family, troubleshooting an enrollment issue, creating a tracking system, and noticing that an important detail has fallen through the cracks. EOE POSITION SUMMARY: CRED is a cohort-based vocational training program for at-risk individuals between the ages of 18-40 years old. The program provides classroom instruction, case management services, internship opportunities, and job placement services designed to help clients earn a Commercial Driver’s License and obtain employment in the transportation industry. The Social Worker will be responsible for providing comprehensive case management services including, but not limited to, mental health support, career counseling, personal guidance and development, life skills, and referrals. The Social Worker will work in both individual and group settings to help clients overcome personal and professional barriers. The individual selected for this position will be under the direct supervision of the CRED Program Director, will conduct themselves in a professional manner, and will comply with all standards set forth by United Activities Unlimited and the NYC Department of Youth & Community Development.
