Job Description Motor Assistance Vehicle Technician (MAVT)/ Motor Assistance Vehicle Operator (MAVO) SUMMARY: The Motor Assistance Vehicle Technician/Operator (MAVT/MAVO) is responsible for all aspects of patients’ care within the scope of certification. Essential Job Functions The Motor Assistance Vehicle Technician/Operator (MAVT/MAVO) is an integral part of the Virgo transportation team. In this position the MAVT/MAVO transports ambulatory patients to and from residences and or skilled nursing facilities to medical treatments and or appointments, and then return them. Some of the patients are able to ambulate to our vehicles while other must be moved in their wheelchairs, or are able to move on their electric scooters. No person is to ride the lift while standing, or on the electric scooter. The patients are placed in a wheelchair to go up on the lift, and they are moved inside and secured to the vehicle either on the bench seat or in the wheelchair. Should there be an aide or family member accompanying the patient, they must be secured in the vehicle as well. The MAVT/MAVO must check to see if any belongings or paperwork must accompany the patient for the transport, and then ensure that it gets dropped off with the patient. For each trip the appropriate documentation must be filled out, and where required, obtain the necessary signatures from the patient and /or facility. In the event monies are to be collected at time of service, a receipt is to be filled out and a copy given to the patient, or the person accompanying the patient. The MAVT/MAVO must be capable of good oral communications as for every leg of the trip dispatch must be communicated with, as to alert them to the status of the transport. In addition should any incident occur dispatch must be notified in a timely manner. The vehicle being used for any particular shift must be checked both prior and post usage for mechanical operations, fluids, and general cleanliness. The MAVT/MAVO must be able to utilize maps in order to locate facilities or residences that they are not aware of, with the assistance of dispatch. At the conclusion of the MAVT’s/MAVO's shift they must turn in the appropriate paperwork, and monies collected. Job Description Motor Assistance Vehicle Technician (MAVT)/ Motor Assistance Vehicle Operator (MAVO) SUMMARY: The Motor Assistance Vehicle Technician/Operator (MAVT/MAVO) is responsible for all aspects of patients’ care within the scope of certification. Essential Job Functions The Motor Assistance Vehicle Technician/Operator (MAVT/MAVO) is an integral part of the Virgo transportation team. In this position the MAVT/MAVO transports ambulatory patients to and from residences and or skilled nursing facilities to medical treatments and or appointments, and then return them. Some of the patients are able to ambulate to our vehicles while other must be moved in their wheelchairs, or are able to move on their electric scooters. No person is to ride the lift while standing, or on the electric scooter. The patients are placed in a wheelchair to go up on the lift, and they are moved inside and secured to the vehicle either on the bench seat or in the wheelchair. Should there be an aide or family member accompanying the patient, they must be secured in the vehicle as well. The MAVT/MAVO must check to see if any belongings or paperwork must accompany the patient for the transport, and then ensure that it gets dropped off with the patient. For each trip the appropriate documentation must be filled out, and where required, obtain the necessary signatures from the patient and /or facility. In the event monies are to be collected at time of service, a receipt is to be filled out and a copy given to the patient, or the person accompanying the patient. The MAVT/MAVO must be capable of good oral communications as for every leg of the trip dispatch must be communicated with, as to alert them to the status of the transport. In addition should any incident occur dispatch must be notified in a timely manner. ALSO is looking for a full-time Market Coordinator, to support the launch and growth of our brand in/around New York. This is a field-based, customer-facing role that works closely with and reports to the Market Manager to bring ALSO to life through mobile demos, retail experiences, and community activations. You’ll be on the front lines—introducing customers to our vehicles, delivering exceptional experiences, and helping build the foundation of ALSO’s presence in New York. What You Will Do (Responsibilities) Customer Experience & Sales Support * Deliver engaging, high-quality customer experiences in both mobile and fixed retail environments. * Educate customers on ALSO vehicles, features, and benefits, guiding them through demo rides and early purchase consideration. * Support local sales goals by converting interest into qualified leads and sales. Mobile Demo & Event Support * Assist with the setup, execution, and breakdown of mobile demo experiences and local activation events, including driving the custom Rivian EV van to/from events. * Safely operate and maintain the local demo fleet, ensuring vehicles are clean, charged, and customer-ready. * Represent ALSO at community events, pop-ups, and partner activations. Community Engagement * Serve as a thought partner to the Market Manager, generating ideas on where and how the brand and team should show up locally in the New York market. * Act as a local brand ambassador, building authentic connections with customers, partners, and the broader New York community. * Share customer feedback and insights with the Market Manager to improve execution and experiences. Retail Store Operations (in applicable markets, over time) * Support daily retail hub operations, including opening and closing procedures, merchandising, and general upkeep. * Deliver best-in-class customer service and demonstrate active selling skills. * Help create a welcoming, on-brand environment that reflects ALSO’s premium and playful ethos. Operational Support * Responsible for inventory tracking, basic reporting, and asset care. * Follow operational, safety, and compliance processes as directed by the Market Manager, and act in a supervisory capacity when the Market Manager is not on-site.
