Job Description Greenwich Country Day School is an independent, co-educational day school with a current enrollment of over 1400 students in grades N-12 and a faculty and staff of over 350. This position works throughout the academic year as well as portions of the 5-week summer camp program. Responsibilities Include: • Maintain vigilant presence on campus grounds, including all athletic fields, • Monitor all campus buildings by walking through each throughout the course of the school day, • Approach and identify any suspicious persons and/or vehicles on campus, • Maintain radio contact with the Director of Security and the Director of Facilities, • Participate in lockdown and fire drills, and practice of evacuation procedures, • Respond to any injury, illness, or accident reported on campus, • Minimum of 5-years of experience in law enforcement, private security, or closely related field, • Must hold or be able to legally possess a valid state of CT pistol permit (with security officer firearm endorsement), • Certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid, • High School Diploma, • Valid motor vehicle operator’s license and ability to operate a vehicle and the necessary equipment, • Must hold or be able to legally possess a valid State of CT pistol permit, • Must have training and be proficient with the handling of a firearm, • Commitment to being part of a diverse, equitable, and inclusive school community, • Ability to maintain records and prepare written reports with accuracy, • Proficiency with computer applications, including calendar, email, and database software, • Ability to maintain a friendly demeanor, positive relationships, and effective communication with school personnel, parents, and local law enforcement, • Ability to react quickly and calmly under emergency conditions Raquel Salcedo, Director of Recruiting & Talent Powered by JazzHR Ej3puKAOli

We are offering seasonal full-time, seasonal part-time and seasonal per diem positions, for the period of May 2026 to September 2026. The Security Gatehouse Officer is to provide a safe and secure environment for members, guests, and employees of the Westchester Country Club Beach Club. This goal will be accomplished by providing professional and courteous service to satisfy the needs of all members and guests which include screening all individuals who enter the Beach Club, Guest policy enforcement, and other club policies and procedures. WHAT YOU'LL DO The Security Gatehouse Officer must complete all tasks and assignments assigned by the Security Operations Supervisor including but not limited to: • Provide welcoming customer service. Must be able to communicate & interact professionally with members & guests., • Computer literacy required (Tablet), Member/Guest check in software., • Scan all member parking sticker bar codes to verify their name and audit number, and accompanying family members. Charge appropriate guest fees and document information., • Follow all club Standard Operating Procedures, safety and security policies and procedures., • Provide assistance to all members, employees, and guests while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards., • Perform other duties as requested by Supervisors, • Customer service oriented, • Must be able to communicate & interact professionally with members, guests, & employees. $17.00-$19.00 hourly compensation, commensurate with experience.
