Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Tax/Assurance Operations Administrator to support the smooth and efficient functioning of our tax and assurance teams in our Latham location. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing multiple priorities, and is passionate about delivering high-quality administrative support. Key Responsibilities • Prepare, format, and assemble financial statements and tax returns (paper and digital)., • Process and scan client tax documents into Axcess Tax; manage e-filing and delivery via Safe Send., • Maintain client records in Axcess Client Manager and manage project workflows in Workstream., • Upload and organize client files in Document; set up and support Portal accounts., • Handle engagement letters and organizers; track and communicate data status., • Support 1099 processing, mail handling, and shipping coordination (FedEx, UPS, USPS)., • Assist with client onboarding, billing arrangements, and ad hoc administrative tasks., • Switchboard operation as backup. Qualifications • Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Word and Excel., • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies., • Strong project management and organizational skills., • Professional, friendly demeanor with the ability to handle diverse tasks in audit and tax environments.
