In this role, you will enjoy the flexibility of a remote work setting, with standard operating hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While the schedule allows for some flexibility based on patient needs, it is designed to offer a work-life balance. Key Responsibilities\n\n • Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and determine appropriate treatment pathways.\n, • Develop customized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience building, and tailored therapeutic interventions.\n, • Utilize evidence-based modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to provide effective therapy.\n, • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma and build coping strategies for everyday challenges.\n, • Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical professionals, and support staff to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for each patient.\n, • Provide immediate crisis intervention when necessary, assisting patients through trauma-related emergencies and providing support when it matters most.\n, • Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, available resources, and strategies for managing trauma effects.\n, • Document all patient interactions meticulously, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements.\n, • Participate in team meetings and case consultations focused on ongoing training and the latest advancements in trauma-informed care.\n, • Stay current with ongoing research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance service quality.\nPatient Population / Client Focus\n Our primary focus is on individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including veterans, first responders, survivors of abuse, and others dealing with PTSD and complex trauma. We are particularly dedicated to supporting clients in their healing journey, providing compassionate care that recognizes the unique narratives each individual brings to the therapeutic process. Qualifications\n\n • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.\n, • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.\n, • A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in trauma-focused settings.\n, • In-depth understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed care principles, and resilience-building methodologies.\n, • Proficient use of electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.\n, • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of fostering a supportive and empathetic therapeutic environment.\nPreferred Experience\n\n, • Demonstrated experience in delivering evidence-based trauma-focused therapies.\n, • Strong communication skills, with an ability to maintain composure and clarity in high-stress situations.\n, • Collaboration experience within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.\nCompensation and Benefits\n The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
