Job Description Job Title: Warehouse Product Quality and Inventory Specialist Job Description We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to manage the quality and organization of products within our warehouse. You will be the key checkpoint for ensuring product quality, quantity, condition, and expiration date assurance. Your role is crucial in maintaining organization and proper rotation of products using FIFO/LILO methods. Responsibilities • Verify products received against the invoice provided., • Compute any necessary adjustments for discrepancies., • Process data entry including RMS transfers for incoming and outgoing products., • Participate in the monthly physical inventory count., • Ensure proper picking, packing, and wrapping of orders., • Experience in picking orders, packing boxes, and wrapping products., • Knowledge of food safety, food preparation, and food handling., • Experience in food manufacturing or production is a plus., • Food handler's certification is a plus., • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is advantageous. Work Environment This position requires working from 6 PM for 10 to 12 hours daily until the end of the year, with flexible and open availability, including weekends. You should be able to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for extended periods, up to 12 hours per day. The work environment is cold, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient workspace is essential. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Long Island City, New York. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
