Job DescriptionDescription: Hybrid Every other week onsite/5 days in either Jersey City, NJ, MMK, NH, SMT, RI or Westlake, TX Our client seeks a Principal Business Systems Analyst to partner with technology and business stakeholders to deliver complex brokerage trading system capabilities. The role will focus on account opening, customer communications, and money movement while bridging strategy and execution in a fast-paced environment. The analyst will frame ambiguous problems, drive MVP-oriented delivery, and translate business intent into precise technical requirements. Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Rate: $80.00 to $90.00/hr. w2 #LI-JS1 Responsibilities: • Serve as a core member of the product team to drive strategy, discovery, and delivery of scalable brokerage platform capabilities., • Lead collaboration across product, engineering, architecture, QA, and operations to define and evolve solutions., • Drive clarity by framing business intent, defining system requirements, and shaping pragmatic approaches., • Evaluate solution alternatives and tradeoffs across cost, scalability, risk, and time to market., • Negotiate terms and conditions of vendor agreements., • 6+ years in business systems analysis, product management, or technical product roles, including use case development, data analysis, system flows, and story writing., • Exceptional critical-thinking and systems-thinking skills with the ability to understand complex interdependencies., • Ability to frame problems effectively and challenge assumptions before solution design., • Proven experience delivering via MVP-driven, phased approaches and incremental releases., • Ability to translate business intent into precise, actionable technical direction., • Experience serving as the main contact across product, engineering, architecture, and team members, including third-party clients when needed., • High proficiency in user and system story writing, UML sequence diagrams, and workflow documentation., • Experience leading or influencing cross-functional teams through define-build-test and full product lifecycle., • Working knowledge of APIs, REST, SOAP, and JSON., • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and SaaS environments (preferred)., • Deep understanding of Agile development methodologies., • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field required.
