Job Description Software Developer (C#/.NET) - Long Island, NY ONSITE WORK REQUIRED Schultheis & Panettieri, LLP has a full time opening for a mid-level .Net Programmer/Developer. We are currently recruiting an energetic, detailed-oriented, and motivated Software Developer with in-depth knowledge of C# .NET. This person will be developing desktop and web-based software products that will encompass heavy front-end and back-end development. We are looking for someone who is self-directing, loves learning, and enjoys collaborating on tough challenges. Responsibilities • Responsible for writing the code (or modules) independently for in-house applications., • Carry out the debugging and troubleshooting of all programs., • Develop applications based on functional specifications., • Identify and communicate technical problems/solutions., • Create basic user manuals to be used by the end users., • Works well in a team., • Solves problems effectively., • Performs well under stress., • Great attention to detail., • Good math skills., • Excellent communication skills., • Creative thinker., • Adapt to a variety of situations., • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)., • Minimum 3-5 years application development and integration experience using Microsoft technologies (e.g., C#,.Net Core, WinForms, LINQ, SQL Server, T-SQL, Visual Studio)., • SAP Crystal Reports experience., • Working knowledge of Telerik Controls for .Net applications., • Experience with source control tools like TFS and Azure DevOps., • Strong business analysis/needs assessment skills; must be comfortable and effective working directly with end users., • Strong customer service skills; able to resolve requests professionally and effectively in a high volume and fast paced environment, while interacting with other IT Department staff, business users, and senior management. What You Will Do • Develop and maintain separate front-end (React, Tailwind) and back-end (Node.js, Express) applications, • Build, document, and maintain APIs to connect and streamline internal systems, • Work with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL) for data storage, retrieval, and reporting, • Deploy and manage applications using Microsoft Azure and GitHub, • Create and maintain internal dashboards and workflows, including applications built with low-code tools such as Retool, • Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance applications to improve performance and reliability., • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to design solutions and contribute ideas for improving practices and workflows., • Explore opportunities to integrate AI tools and services into our applications and workflows.
