Hybrid Remote | Onsite 4 weeks per month in Jersey City, NJ As a senior developer on one of the agile squads you will have the opportunity to work on development/enhancement/support of existing Money Movement applications and contribute to the development of new capabilities within those areas. The teams are involved with many initiatives such as testing automation, paper elimination, digital credentials, and cloud transformation; technology stack will primarily consist of Java, Oracle, and AWS. This Senior Full Stack Software Engineer opportunity would be great for someone looking to utilize their existing skillsets in addition to learning new technologies! The position will require hands-on software development, technical mentoring, cross team collaboration with a diverse and co-located engineering team, and the ability to visualize customer issues as drivers for internal change. Pay: $60 - $65/hr W2 Responsibilities • Develop new features, • Java/ J2EE (Critical), • JavaScript (Required), • Continuous Integration Tools (e.g. Jenkins, Maven) (Critical), • Code Source Control (e.g. GIT) (Critical), • Communication (written/verbal) (Critical), • Team Player (with respect and integrity) (Critical), • Problem Solving (Required), • Confident/ Self-Aware (Required), • Initiative / Passion for Technology (Required) Experience Requirements • 5+ Years of experience in Software Development., • Application development on Public Cloud - AWS Managed Services, ECS, EC2, EKS, Serverless Framework/Lambda, API Gateway, Step Function, S3, ALB, Route53, • Develop and/or consume REST API using Java, Spring Boot., • Experience writing and performance tuning SQL/Functions/Procedures in transactional database systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, • Building test suites using Junit, Mockito, Cucumber, Karate., • Experience in build technologies such as Gradle / Maven, • Experience with tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, uDeploy, Docker, Datadog and Splunk etc. Education Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
