Job Description Location: New York City (in-office preferred) Stage: Series A–stage partner with a proven early growth engine Compensation: Up to $220K OTE + meaningful equity Role Overview Our partner is hiring a Founding Growth Lead to own customer acquisition, activation, and distribution end-to-end. This is a senior, high-bar role for someone who has built and scaled growth systems at top-tier tech companies — not just content, not just SEO, but full-stack growth. You’ll architect and scale the growth engine across SEO/AEO, AI discovery, outbound orchestration, activation loops, mini-apps, partnerships, and product-led distribution, ensuring the company shows up in the right conversations and converts self-serve users into engaged customers. This role sits at the intersection of growth, product marketing, and light engineering. Responsibilities Growth Systems & Distribution Design and scale repeatable growth systems across SEO, AEO, AI search (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini), outbound orchestration, and partnerships. AI, SEO & AEO Strategy Own organic discovery across Google and AI-driven platforms, combining technical SEO, AI optimization, and scalable content systems. Activation & Growth Loops Build activation and re-engagement loops that turn discovery into usage, usage into advocacy, and advocacy into distribution. Mini-Apps & Automation Ship lightweight tools, internal apps, and experiments over product and data to drive attention, conversation, and inbound interest. Outbound Orchestration Set up automated outbound and distribution flows that complement organic growth and reinforce positioning. Product-Led Content & Video Translate customer insight into product-led content (including video) that spreads naturally — without relying on personality-driven or influencer content. Experimentation & Scale Run high-velocity experiments, maintain an extremely high quality bar, and scale only what proves durable. Ideal Background • 6–10+ years in growth, product marketing, or technical marketing at Series A–C technology companies, • Experience taking a company 0→1 and then scaling what already worked, • Strong understanding of SEO, AEO, AI discovery, outbound systems, and activation loops, • Semi-technical: comfortable with scripting, automation, data workflows, or shipping small tools, • Product-minded with a sharp instinct for customer intent and messaging, • High-signal background with exposure to top-tier execution environments, • Independent operator with extremely high standards, • NYC-based (or willing to relocate)

What you will do: • Drive User Acquisition & Transactions: Plan, launch, and optimize performance marketing campaigns (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok) to drive immediate traffic, sign-ups, and menu checkouts., • Master Lifecycle & Retention: Own the email and SMS automation stack (Klaviyo). You will build and refine high-converting flows, specifically focusing on abandoned cart recovery, new user activation, and driving repeat purchase behavior., • Own Creative Strategy & CRO: Produce high-performing ad creatives and landing page copy. You will relentlessly test messaging and visuals to improve Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) across the entire self-serve funnel., • Champion Product-Led Growth: Serve as the bridge between Marketing and Product. Analyze user behavior within the app to identify friction points and help optimize the "first-time user" experience to increase checkout rates., • 5+ years of hands-on experience in a Growth, Demand Gen, or Performance Marketing role, preferably in a DTC, eCommerce, Marketplace, or PLG (Product-Led Growth) environment., • Transaction-Focused Mindset: You have a track record of driving users to a "Buy Now" or "Checkout" action, rather than just filling out a "Contact Us" form., • Channel Expertise: Demonstrated mastery of paid social (Facebook/Instagram), paid search (Google), and lifecycle marketing. You are comfortable managing a budget and optimizing for ROAS., • Automation Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency with Klaviyo (or similar e-commerce automation platforms) is essential. You understand how to segment users based on purchase behavior and engagement., • AI-Native Workflow: A passion for leveraging new technology. You have hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT for copy, Canva AI for creative, or AI data analysis) to work smarter and faster.
