BRIEF DESCRIPTION: BluSky Restoration wants to know if YOU are interested in being a construction Project Director at our Philidelphia office. Our Project Directors are crucial to our organizational success because they have the ability to estimate and close the sale. This is a highly compensated position with UNCAPPED commission potential. Base Salary Range is $85,000 - $100,000 Commission OTE is $70,000 - $200,000 Vehicle Allowance What does a Project Director do? They fix broken buildings! The construction Project Director is responsible for estimating, closing the sale of, and managing restoration projects. The Project Director works closely with owners and managers of commercial, multifamily, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, and residential properties damaged by man-made or natural disasters to develop cost estimates for restoration, renovation, environmental, and roofing services. The Project Director is the quarter back of the project, ensuring that budgets and projects are on track through completion. Principal Accountabilities • Sales, • Revenue, • Profit Margins, • AR & Collections, • Managing near-term opportunities, • Business Development Activity, • Estimating Proficiency, • Customer Satisfaction Sales: • Meet or exceed monthly and yearly sales goals, • Negotiate and execute contracts on behalf of the company, • Selling all services that BluSky offers, • Convert opportunities into sales, • Oversee and expedite revenue production in accordance with monthly goals, • Work with all members of the project team to ensure timeliness of deposit, progress, and final billings, • Provide oversight and direction to the Project Manager in production of revenue, • Develop and take ownership of the project budget in compliance with vertical target margins, • Ensure the accuracy of the budget and modify it during the course of the project, if conditions warrant, • Seek to improve project profitability by judicious use of vendors, in-house labor, and material suppliers, • Intentional conversations at the beginning of each project outlining the AR process and setting expectations with the customer for collections, • Review and understand specific program's for invoicing, payment terms, conditions, and process, • Perform weekly collection calls on all accounts, • Weekly reviews for A/R Aging to proactively manage the accounts, monitor lien rights, and follow through on assignments, • Work directly with clients & claims handling teams to close leads, • Maintain robust communication with clients to steer direction toward closing, • Schedule and attend two business development meetings a week with clients, adjusters, building consultants, etc., • Participate in various special events to market BluSky - luncheons, trade shows, award dinners, etc., • Entertain clients as necessary to drive business and close sales, • Accurate sketching of affected areas and use of Matterport technology., • Time and Material (T&M) / Xactimate knowledge (need to be able to explain the T&M bill file & justify Xactimate line items), • Consistent weekly communication with all stakeholders (external and internal), • Setting expectations upfront with the customer, • Holding teams accountable to provide updates, • Check in with the customer throughout the project, • Email communication should have all stakeholders on the thread Working and coordinating with internal teams: Mitigation • Coordinate to get the work authorization signed so we can respond timely, • Walking the job with the technician team to define the scope of work, • Share client feedback/changes in scope, • Review daily T&M sheets with the Mitigation operations team, • Work directly with the Mitigation operations team, • Project Kick Offs confirming scope of work and target budget / margin, • Constant communication with the Project Manager (PM) throughout the course of the project, • Work with the PM to get timely change orders submitted for approval, • Communicate with the Business Development Manager (BD) about the new opportunity to get it into Salesforce timely, • Keep the BD on all email communication with the mutual client, • Update the BD on all changes to the project timely, • Oversee completed work authorizations so the PA can get the job into Vista, • Work with the PA to send out invoices, • 5+ years of Recent marketing/business development and sales experience in the restoration or construction industry with a proven track record of sales growth, • Extensive Construction estimating and/or large loss and catastrophe experience, • Must be able to attend Business Development networking functions 2-3 evenings a week, • Intermediate-level Microsoft Office skills, • Experience utilizing Xactimate and other estimating software preferred, • Experience with social media platforms such as LinkedIn preferred, • Strong written and verbal communication skills required, • Strong knowledge of project management, financial processes, and administration required, • Strong business ethics, integrity, and the ability to perform in highly autonomous environments required BluSky offers a competitive base salary, a bonus or commission plan for qualified positions, auto allowance, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes: a matching 401(k) plan, health insurance (medical, dental, and vision), paid time off, disability, equipment appropriate to the position (i.e., laptop, smartphone, etc.), and corporate apparel allowance. Educate and enforce safety rules. Strive to prevent accidents, maintain discipline. Administer first aid in the event of injury. Complete all online work as it pertains to student records and progress reports (skill trees). Assist in maintaining a clean and safe pool environment for clients, staff, and public. Act as a company spokesperson at community events by educating potential clients and community members on water safety and drowning prevention. Represent the Philosophy of Stewie the Duck Swim School. Perform cleaning tasks of both the pool and its surroundings as needed. Attend meetings and training sessions and ensure that training manuals, handouts, and study guides are completed if applicable or reviewed Perform ad hoc duties as needed (e.g. office/clerical work, marketing & event participation, etc.). Display excellent customer service and communicate with everyone who comes to the facility. Smile and have fun during the entire shift. Ensure that the last student gets the same enthusiasm as the first student. ROLE REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent (or currently enrolled with expected graduation date) Experience in lifeguarding, swim instruction and/or water safety a plus. Passion for the water and working with children. Fun, upbeat professional demeanor, and appearance when working with clients. Knowledge of general safety rules and precautions related to a swimming pool environment. Professional demeanor Ability to work in a positive way with a wide range of students with special needs and ages. Appropriate and upbeat communication skills with both children and adults. Ability to perform the work schedule duties including lifting, loading, and unloading, and ability maneuver up to 40 lbs. Ability to work in and around swimming pools with exposure to chlorinated and chemically treated water. Knowledge of methods of rescue, life saving techniques, artificial respiration, and first aid a plus. Possessing the following American Red Cross, certifications: o Lifeguard Training (LGT) o Water Safety Instructor (WSI) (Preferred) Compensation: Starting $20.00 per hour depending on experience and certifications.
