Position Overview CMCOM is seeking a GIS Analyst to support the development of a major enterprise-level ArcGIS application. This application will catalog and geo-reference assets across all facilities, including transportation, campus, and infrastructure sites. The position is hybrid, based in the NYC Metro Area, with flexibility for remote work and occasional in-person collaboration with project teams. Responsibilities • Compile, manipulate, and analyze geospatial asset data (drawings, spreadsheets, documents, databases) for integration into GIS., • Catalog, organize, and sanitize data to align with project standards., • Geo-reference collected data for use in enterprise GIS platforms., • Document workflows and data processes from multiple authoritative sources., • Collaborate closely with technical and development teams to build GIS/ESRI-based applications., • Design, develop, and maintain databases and systems of GIS data., • Deliverables include reports, maps, dashboards, applications, and visualizations conveying results of spatial analyses., • Utilize ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, or ArcGIS Online in data visualization., • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, GIS, or a related technical field., • Minimum 4 years’ experience in GIS/ArcGIS system development and application support., • Proficiency in:, • ArcGIS Portal, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Pro, • Spatial data development and geoprocessing tools (CAD interoperability), • Esri database design and modeling, • SQL databases, ArcSDE, • Experience with GPS, Surveying, and/or Mobile Data Collection (preferred)., • Working knowledge of MS SharePoint and MS PowerPoint., • Basic understanding of internet services-oriented architectures (SOA)., • Must be available Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST., • Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively., • Must be highly responsive to emails, phone calls, and chats., • Must adapt quickly to changes in project direction., • Must demonstrate a very positive disposition and maintain a professional, cooperative attitude., • Must be able to get along well with all staff and teams., • Hybrid work schedule (remote + occasional in-person collaboration in the Jersey City Area)., • Health & Wellness: Medical, dental, and vision coverage., • Retirement: 401(k) plan., • Paid Time Off: PTO, paid holidays, and personal days.
