Job Description POSITION SUMMARY: The OB/GYN provides comprehensive women’s health care and preventive services. The physician treats patients during the prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods and conducts examinations using physical findings, laboratory results, and patient history to diagnose conditions. Based on clinical assessment, the physician determines appropriate care plans, including dietary modifications, physical activity recommendations, medications, or surgical interventions when indicated. The Obstetrician/Gynecologist delivers infants, performs cesarean sections and other necessary surgical procedures, and provides postpartum care to ensure the health and safety of both mother and infant. The physician also evaluates and treats conditions affecting the female reproductive system. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. The OB/GYN will work cooperatively with other allied health providers including nurses, medical team assistants, counselors, social workers, psychologist, psychiatrist, pharmacists, nutritionist and laboratory technologist in providing comprehensive team health care., 2. Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic conditions related to women’s health across the lifespan., 3.
