Job Description Summary Responsible for preparing daily nutritious meals and assure they are meeting all of the USDA Requirements for students ranging from ages of Infants through 6 years old in an atmosphere of efficiency and cleanliness (CCFP Program Requirements). Duties Meet all requirements for the CCFP. Prepare weekly menus and get approved by the Director or Assistant Director. Prepare/cook daily meals. Maintain kitchen equipment and food inventories. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen. Assist teachers with cooking experience lessons for the classrooms. Maintain record keeping for meals served, food and supplies. Maintain Inventory of goods and place orders as needed. Required to have a Background Check and Clearance upon hiring.
