Job Description As a Solar Electrician (Journeyman) you are responsible for providing hands-on technical expertise to multiple PV plant sites on a continual/on-demand basis in order to meet all project maintenance requirements and troubleshoot/repair/resolve equipment issues such as emergency repairs and provide O&M support. Interacts with the staff on all issues related to class scheduling, student progress, customer service and employee performance and training., • Provides sales and marketing training to all qualified sales staff., • Provides direction in the retail and vending departments to ensure a proper mix of products and pricing is achieved., • Trains and oversees private party staff to ensure that the GSS standard operating procedures are being maintained., • Gains knowledge and experience in all technology to achieve a high level of competence in customer maintenance, bookings, class scheduling, reporting and administrative functions., • Gains a high level of knowledge and experience in the GSS pool operations necessary to maintain a safe and sanitary swim environment., • Manages financial responsibilities including weekly cash deposits, cash reconciliation, tilling off process, financial documentation, and budgeting., • Initiates and oversees workplace culture and employee interaction. Maintain a high level of employee satisfaction., • Directs and oversees the implementation of the Emergency Action Plan (EAP) and all safety procedures that pertain to the GSS facility. Trains all current staff on the GSS EAP., • Gains knowledge and experience in the GSS pool operations necessary to maintain a safe and sanitary swim environment including proper pool chemistry and pump room operation., • Maintains current required certifications for self and all staff., • Schedules staff and manages payroll., • Expert in all roles and responsibilities in the swim school, • Work 1 shift per week in a lifeguard/swim instructor capacity High school diploma or GED required. Bachelors degree in business administration, communications or equivalent is desired. Experience as youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor or aquatics instructor/supervisor is preferred. Three to five years management experience is preferred. Certificates and Licenses: Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, AED and Certified Pool Operator certifications required or be able to obtain these certifications within 90 days of start date. Position Overview The Athletic Coach is responsible for leading a team of student athletes, developing and implementing training programs, and promoting a culture of excellence within the athletic department. This individual will work closely with the Director of Athletics to achieve program goals, maintain a safe and supportive environment for student-athletes, and adhere to school policies and regulations. Duties & Responsibilities • Instruction and Leadership: Instruct and demonstrate skill sets and techniques necessary for individual and team achievement in their designated sport(s)., • Program Development: Develop and implement comprehensive training programs and practice schedules to enhance team performance and athlete development, as well as the creation and execution of game and meet strategies., • Game Strategy: Create and execute game/meet strategy and implement fundamentals to achieve competitive success., • Staff Management: Collaborate with the Director of Athletics to hire, evaluate, and support additional coaching staff members for all program teams., • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper cleaning, storage, and maintenance of all athletic equipment and uniforms, with updated inventories., • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and complete required paperwork in a timely manner., • Health and Safety: Ensure proper medical forms and current records are obtained and maintained., • Student Supervision: Supervise students at home and away games, ensuring appropriate behavior and adherence to school policies., • Reporting and Communication:, • Finalize roster reports and submit attendance records to the Director of Athletics for mandated reporting; report game/meet results, ejections, and disqualifications to the Director of Athletics; and communicate regularly with families of student-athletes., • Submit completed injury reports to the Director of Athletics, School Leader, and School Nurse., • Report game/meet results, as well as any ejections and disqualifications, to the Director of Athletics., • Family Communication: Communicate and collaborate with the families of student-athletes regarding progress and expectations., • Problem Reporting: Report any problems or situations to the Director of Athletics promptly., • Policy Enforcement: Enforce all school policies during both home and away events., • Perform other duties as outlined by the Director of Athletics., • Committed to furthering anti-racism, equity, and racial justice in all our efforts, and expect all our stakeholders to participate in this work so that we can create a future without limits for our students together., • Complies with all charter, federal, state, and local laws, and regulations, including the NYS Department of Education, Department of Health, and NYS Office of Children and Family Services, • High School Diploma/GED required.
