Secures and returns supplies. Maintains room and room’s stock., • Responsible for necessary equipment maintenance recommendations and troubleshooting when indicated. The Clinical Assistant will promote and restore patients’ health by assisting in the nursing process and supporting physicians and other multidisciplinary team members with hands-on patient care. You will help to create a positive experience for our patients and ensure that patients receive high-quality service by assisting clinical team with patient care. Essential Functions and Accountabilities: • Assist Physicians with clinical procedures, • Follow proper protocols for all procedures, • Practice phlebotomy, • Accurately document ultrasound measurements, provider comments and use appropriate stim templates while chaperoning ultrasounds., • Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol., • Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms., • Maintain clinical supplies inventory., • Specimen collection, processing for in-house and outside laboratories., • Manage Lanfax for outside labs, reports, results. Enter results and email to provider team for review., • Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance/comfort before, during and after procedures.
