    Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation office in Queens is seeking a part-time NYS licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant (1-3 times a week). Responsibilities include providing full scope of care including evaluation, examination, treatment and coordination of care for patients who have been injured or are in pain. The candidate will develop a treatment program for patients, refer patient for specialized consultations, surgical or non-surgical treatment options, physical therapy, acupuncture treatment or diagnostic testing for acute and chronic conditions. as needed. Practitioner will need to administer injections for pain (such as trigger point or joint injections) as needed by patient. The candidate should have a great interpersonal skills , be a team player, reliable, well organized and able to work independently. The work environment is rewarding and fast paced, but our ancillary staff is amazing and very helpful. You will have a team of medical assistants and therapists which will assist you during your patient sessions to ensure continuity of care. We will provide on-the-job training if necessary.: Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or as a Physician Assistant (PA) issued by the New York State Department of Education required. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and clinical management skills.
