Job DescriptionSalary: 115,000 Edison Home Health Care, a leading home health care agency serving all five NYC boroughs, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a an Aide Training Program Manager. Join our dedicated team to help us continue providing compassionate care to patients in their homes. Job Summary The Aide Training Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation and management of the training program for Personal Care Aides (PCA) and Home Health Aides (HHA). The role ensures that aides are adequately trained to provide quality care, meet regulatory standards, and support the needs of their patients. Key Responsibilities Program Development and Design • Updating curricula, • Ensuring training content aligns with industry standards, state regulations, and organizational policies, • Coordinating and scheduling training sessions to support new hires and annual training requirements, • Anticipating needs as the business grows, • Managing program logistics, • Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs, • Identifying areas for improvement and making necessary adjustments, • Staff supervision and support, • Hiring, supervising and developing nurse instructors, • Maintaining accurate training records and documentation, • Ensuring compliance with state licensure requirements, • Preparing reports on training activities and outcomes, • Collaborates with business development, aide coordinators and human resources to meet training needs, • Communicates training requirements to relevant stakeholders, • Strong knowledge of personal care and home health aide roles, • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, • Proficiency in learning management systems, • Strong technical skills, • Ability to drive education outcomes in hybrid (in person and remote) learning environment, • Ability to work independently and as a team, • Strong communication skills, oral and written., • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Education and Experience • Must meet state regulatory requirements for Director/Coordinator of Training Program, • Licensed in New York as a Registered Professional Nurse, • Bachelors degree in nursing or an area related to delivery of health or social services, • Two years of nursing experience, at least one of which is in the provision of home health services, • Two years of teaching experience What We Offer: • Competitive Compensation: 115k salary.
