As our Asset Reliability Planning Specialist, you turn non-emergency work requests into executable plans that drive uptime, safety, and efficiency. What you’ll do • Assess non-urgent work requests, define precise scopes, and visit the job site to confirm requirements before planning begins., • Estimate labor hours, skill sets, parts, materials, equipment, and special tools to deliver proactive jobs safely and efficiently., • Collect and validate technical references—drawings, schematics, specs, spare parts lists—from equipment histories, OEM manuals, and the Knowledgebase; confirm parts availability ahead of scheduling., • Secure special tools and auxiliary equipment when needed to ensure flawless execution., • Maintain an organized, prioritized backlog, planning the next-highest-value jobs and sustaining the Ready Backlog at or above 80%., • Continuously refine Job Plans for accuracy and effectiveness through a disciplined review and improvement process., • Lead weekly planning and scheduling meetings with Production to align priorities, communicate progress, and adjust when operations shift., • Publish a Weekly Technician Schedule that blends priority planned work with preventative maintenance and utilizes 100% of available technician labor hours., • Use maintenance metrics to review and improve planning and scheduling effectiveness., • Keep records and files that enable meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance activities., • Train site employees on the CMMS, ensuring data integrity and full adoption.What you bring, • Associate Degree in a technical field (required) with 1–3 years of maintenance scheduling/planning experience and/or 5–10 years as a machine repair technician, or an equivalent combination., • Experience in an industrial manufacturing setting; strong electrical/mechanical aptitude., • Computer fluency with maintenance systems and applications, including Microsoft Office., • Outstanding verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation abilities., • Proven relationship-building skills with cross-functional partners.Preferred, • Interest in developing leadership capabilities., • Background in job plan creation, scheduling, and work execution., • Project management and capital project experience., • CMRP, Green Belt, or STS certification.Core competencies, • Drive & Motivation, • Interpersonal Skills, • Task Management, • Strategic Skills, • Customer FocusPhysical demands and working conditions, • Regularly stand, walk, use hands/fingers, reach with hands/arms, climb/ascend/descend or balance (may require a ladder or lift), stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in confined spaces, and talk/hear; occasionally sit., • Occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds., • Regularly use close and color vision., • Occasional exposure to outside weather and risk of electrical shock., • Factory environment that is usually very loud, with potential exposure to hazardous materials and/or greasy or slippery floors.Compensation and benefits We believe in fair and equitable pay.
