Job DescriptionSalary: $85,000 $100,000 annually We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in financial reporting, tax support, and audit coordination. This position serves as the key liaison between our internal accounting operations and our external CPA firm, ensuring accurate financial data, timely tax documentation, and smooth audit processes across multiple entities. Responsibility Areas 1. Accounting, Reporting & Financial Operations • Prepare comprehensive monthly financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports for multiple entities (corporations, LLCs, trusts)., • Execute month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions., • Calculate profit-sharing, loan interest, and income distributions., • Maintain and update QuickBooks data for multiple legal entities., • Prepare consolidated financial reporting packages and variance explanations for management., • Submit analytical financial performance reports to management., • Manage daily banking activities, including cash positioning, fund transfers, and account reconciliations., • Review entries, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and adherence to internal controls and authorization policies., • Maintain short- and long-term fund forecasts to support financial planning, monitoring fund performance and cash flow projections., • Oversee the processing of Letters of Credit and Trust Receipt loans, ensuring compliance with trade terms and timely execution., • Support close timelines and deliverables across entities, coordinating inputs from internal teams and external advisors. 2. Tax Liaison & Support • Coordinate between internal accounting and the external CPA firm for annual tax filings and quarterly estimated tax calculations., • Compile and organize financial data, entity documentation, and supporting schedules for CPA review and tax preparation., • Prepare and provide Form 1099 documentation and supporting schedules., • Prepare sales allocation, UNICAP, and tax adjustment workpapers for CPA review., • Compile fringe benefit summaries and home office expense documentation for tax reporting., • Coordinate state and local compliance requirements (annual reports, sales tax, business tax returns)., • Maintain book-to-tax reconciliation schedules and tax basis workpapers., • Track and document tax attributes, credits, and carryforwards for CPA review. 3. Audit Coordination & Compliance • Act as the liaison between internal teams and external auditors., • Prepare audit schedules, supporting documentation, and responses. 4. Systems & Process Improvement • Identify and assist in implementing accounting process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls., • Maintain and improve the chart of accounts and reporting structures across multiple entities., • Support accounting system enhancements and integrations as needed. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field., • Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience with increasing responsibility in financial reporting, tax support, and audit., • Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean., • Strong expertise in financial statement preparation and multi-entity accounting., • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets., • Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software., • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information. Preferred Qualifications • CPA certification or active CPA candidate strongly preferred., • MBA or Master's in Accounting/Taxation., • Experience with complex entity structures (corporations, LLCs, trusts, estates)., • Familiarity with tax benefit programs (R&D credits, UNICAP calculations)., • Proficiency in AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, and n8n) and ERP systems.
